Indy Hall Arts has combined over a dozen artists and designers representing multiple mediums to create a massive experience. The first-floor of Indy Hall was transformed to showcase inspiring installations, fine artwork and original music, amounting to a live fashion display by MADE Studios. An art gallery and concert like you’ve never experienced before.
From Indy Hall press release Philly’s own MADE Studio promenades through our walls and into your heart with their maiden voyage on Indy Hall’s catwalk, unveiling a year’s worth of gorgeous designs on gorgeous humans. These aren’t pieces with patterns, it’s fabric with intention. An ensemble of 9 fearless designers strut to the sultry sounds of Donnie Felton’s LMNOP, of Good Behavior Records. Have you ever been rocked into a gooey nirvana of fab? Well, there’s a first time for everything. LMNOP’s jams are wavier than a frock, sharper than knife pleats. Vibe out while Donnie Felton spins the soundtrack of MADE models owning the catwalk. The beats bounce off walls outfitted with original artwork from Aubrie Costello, Mike Jackson, Alexandra Orth and Sean Martorana – more artists to be announced. Each creator contributes to the evening with his and her signature style, dressing the Indy Hall gallery in custom canvases and installations to appease your oculars. A portion of the proceeds from ticket and art sales benefit the Burmese Women’s Initiative and the local art community. Art, in every sense.
